That’s exactly right – here in the Midwest, you can only enjoy the outdoors for about half the year. So why not make the most of those months by creating a backyard that your family will spend all of their time enjoying?

At Weller Brothers, we partner with local, trustworthy pool companies (like Combined in Sioux Falls or Thatcher Pools in Rochester, MN) to coordinate the planning and installation of your pool, further complemented by the surrounding landscape features.

Our landscape designers will learn about how you plan to use your outdoor space and design around the pool accordingly. Here are some elements we will consider:

• Pool location and size: How will you use this space? Are you more interested in a comfortable area for the adults to sunbathe, a spacious area for the kids to splash, or both? Do you want grilling, lounging, or game areas nearby? Think about how your family will actually use the space. 
• Terrain: A level yard is ideal for your new outdoor pool, but we can work with sloped yards if needed with the help of retaining walls.
• Privacy: No Peeping Toms around here. We can thoughtfully select and design hedges or trees around your pool area if needed.

You can certainly slap a pool in your backyard, put a little concrete around it, and call it a day. It’s still an adequate place to perfect your cannonball. 

But, why do it halfway? Instead, you can thoughtfully elevate the space around your pool with stamped concrete or custom pavers, plantings, lounge areas, and more.
